Ideas for Christmas Holidays, New Year's Eve and Epiphany in Monte di Procida
In Monte di Procida, from January 3 to 6, the International Wood and Ice Symposium will be held at Villa Matarese, while in Piazza XXVII gennaio there will be two installations. These are the Ice Crib and the Crib of the 18th century. At the same time, you will have the chance to visit the Mostra Mercato fair with local crafts and taste typical products from Monte di Procida.
On the occasion of the start of Mdp 2023, ephemeral art artists sculpt crystal ice with the theme "the moment of a sports competition". These works will be created at Villa Matarese for the International Ice Symposium with artists such as Marco Torrisi, Domenico Mazzella and many others from Canada, Poland, France, Malaysia and Senegal.
For the National Wood Carving Symposium, woodcarving masters from Italy and also from Germany, the Netherlands, Finland and Montenegro will use tools such as chisels, rapes and hacksaws to create a work on the theme "Un Monte di Sport" (or a Mount of Sport).
The works will be donated to the municipality of Monte di Procida and will remain at Villa Matarese as a memory of the event.
You can also take the Dedalo tourist bus from Torregaveta to visit the remaining attractions of the Campi Flegrei.
Your Christmas Holidays, New Year's Eve and Epiphany in Bacoli
In Bacoli, there is a musical event entitled "Incanti Musicali"(Musical Enchantments) with several concerts. To see them all, please CLICK HERE.
