Back again this year to open the Festival, on August 19, The contest, which aims to contribute to the support of artistic projects of young theater realities under 35 and provides for the selection of three works, which will each be winners of a residency on the national territory. Partners in this edition will in fact be the companies Diesis Teatrango – Bucine (Arezzo), Il Casale – Grizzana Morandi (Bologna), and Théâtre De Poche – Naples, which will host the winning companies in their spaces over the 2022/2023 theater season.

The three winners will also be called to “compete” for an additional prize: to be included in the playbill of Il teatro non si rassegna III edition. The groups will show their work and two different juries will be called upon to vote: one of insiders and one composed of the public; the event is held with the collaboration of Teatro di Napoli, Teatri Uniti and Teatro Bellini.

Il Teatro Non Si Rassegna is not just a figure of speech aimed at averting how bad the past few years have left the theatrical world and the art world in general, but a real initiative set up to try to return to positive emotions, to reconnect on the right wavelength minds and hearts.

Archè aims at cultural, social and artistic purposes, striving for the establishment and intensification of friendly and cultural relations between internal members and those of similar formations in order to improve the most frequent exchange of ideas.

The Archè theatrical and cultural association was founded in Monte di Procida, in the province of Naples, in November 2002.

It proposes, by statute, cultural, social and artistic purposes, striving for the establishment and intensification of friendship and cultural relations between internal members and those belonging to similar companies, associations and formations, both Italian and foreign, in order to improve their mutual understanding and the more frequent exchange of ideas.

In this regard, the Association aims at a continuous confrontation with new forms in the field of representation, collection of materials and the possibility of connection with any reality it deems useful to involve in its projects. Most of the members have made the performing arts of the stage their profession, specializing in the different fields of dramaturgy, directing and acting at the most important Italian training centers (Teatro Stabile di Genova, Civica Scuola di teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan, Bellini Teatro Factory in Naples, Teatro Stabile di Napoli); also there is no shortage of professional set designers (Academy of Fine Arts in Naples), makeup artists (BCM European School of Makeup), costume designers (CTN 75 Canzanella).

First and foremost, Archè carries out design, production, organization, promotion, dissemination and distribution activities in the theatrical field; organizes and manages performance activities, reviews; supports theatrical, film, music, art and multimedia festivals; and manages or co-manages study centers and workshops in the areas of expertise.

Archè is also committed to promoting the resources of the territory it belongs to, enhancing its places, history, culture, traditions and typical productions, as well as upgrading abandoned structures or spaces, archaeological and related sites through the creation of performance events, theater reviews and permanent workshops.
