Al Chiar di Luna is a venue celebrating love where, every day, couples get married, celebrate their anniversary, a special occasion, or simply meet.

We are very sensitive to art, especially to local artists, and so we are pleased to introduce the following works by Lia Ambrosino.

At the very heart of Lia Ambrosino's evocative artistic world, the triptych entitled "Appuntamento al Chiar di Luna in una Giornata Autunnale" (literally A Date under the Moonlight on an Autumn Day) symbolises a journey through love and expectation.

The intense brush strokes and generous spatula strokes of the first two paintings tell the story of a burning passion, culminating in the third painting. Here, two lovers finally surrender to love in the autumn rain. 1.    "Lui e l'Alba" - Quadro n. 1 / "Him and the Dawn" - Painting No. 1

In the first chapter of this triptych, Ambrosino paints skilfully the beginning of the day.
Using the Naples canvas as a canvas, the oil painting captures the dawn with intense colours and a spatula, conferring a sense of dynamism. 
The work portrays the passion and energy before the encounter, depicting the male protagonist in a luminous and hopeful context.

 

2.    "Lei di Giorno" - Quadro n. 2 / "'Her by Day' - Painting No. 2

In the second of these paintings, the artist focuses on the female subject, showing her during the day.
Once again, the canvas of Naples serves as a backdrop for her creativity, while oil paint and spatula strokes outline the nuances of emotions during the wait.
Compared to the first painting, the more delicate colours emphasise the transformation of the daylight, but the passion is still there, clearly palpable.


3.    "Loro e la Luna" - Quadro n. 3 / "Them and the Moon" - Painting No. 3

The third painting carries spectators under the moonlight at the story's apex. Lia Ambrosino achieves a magical atmosphere using the canvas of Naples as a base, while oil paint and spatula paintings depict the autumn rain. The two lovers finally meet under the moonlight, merging in a passionate embrace.
The artist's expertise emerges in conveying love essence in an evocative setting.
