Acdl Magazine is launched: the Weddin Magazine for couples who desire the Moon

We realised the need to talk to couples directly. With our 30 years of experience in budgeting and event organisation, we realised that the bride and groom need helpful advice in preparing for the most important day of their lives. They come and visit our venue as a first stop, even before choosing the church or the wedding date. So the responsibility of our sales consultants is crucial: it is the first meeting and the "preview" of their most beautiful day.

Al Chiar di Luna aims to be a reference providing all the information a couple needs for their wedding: the ceremony, the mise en place, the wedding cake, the photo shoot, the artists and the musical entertainment.

In our blog, you will find interesting insights into the articles included in the printed magazine. If you have not received it, click here to download it:  CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE MAGAZINE IN PDF FORMAT

The Ritual

"Love conquers all"

Virgilio

A symbolic marriage is a celebration that, alongside the civil or religious function, involves a moment of pure spirituality, which may engage other people, objects or gestures.

Why is it so important? The presence of loved ones, family and friends gives the union something "sacred", even in the case of a civil ceremony.

The ritual is often complemented by speeches written by the couple's friends or relatives who tell their story from the heart and retrace the most significant stages.

There are different rites, from the rose ritual to candles, from the "tree planting ceremony" to "handfasting" Let's have a look at them one by one.

Many spaces in our structure can be used for the ritual: the rooftop, the terrace, the porch, and our suggestive cave halls.

The Rose Ritual

"Every blossoming flower reminds us that the world is not yet tired of colours"

Fabrizio Caramagna

To perform the rite of roses, two red roses without any thorns are needed. The bride and groom exchange and place them in an identical vase.

It is a lovely ritual that can be repeated for every wedding anniversary

It is a gesture that can be repeated whenever the couple feels the need to renew "their union".

Declaring love with flowers originated with the Flower Etiquette in the 19th century.

It is also nice to involve your guests in the ritual by having roses in colours other than red on the chairs.

For example, white roses are brought to the bride and groom as a sign of union sharing and placed in a large vase.

The Ritual of light or candles

A large candle and two candles are needed for the ritual of light or candles. The candle is lit, and the bride and groom, together, light the candles as a sign of the union of their love.

If you have children, they may also light a candle as a sign of sharing and supporting their parents' union.

The "Tree Planting" Ritual

Tree Planting Ceremony

This ceremony is particularly suitable for married couples with a fondness for gardening skills. The steps of this ceremony are as follows:

  • the officiant explains the ceremony and the meaning of the plant chosen by the bride and groom
  • the bride and groom take some potting soil from one of their pots and add it to the pot with the selected plant as a symbol of their love
  • after putting the potting soil, they pour water into the vase

Again, the guests can be involved in adding soil or water.

The "Handfasting" Ritual

Handfasting

Handfasting is a Neo-Pagan wedding ritual. Hands are tied with a ribbon representing union and commitment to each other. It is also recognised for civil purposes in some states in the United States, Great Britain and Ireland as long as an officiant with civil law powers performs it. It is a ceremony also linked to Wicca, a new religious movement otherwise defined as neo-Paganism. In Italy, it is mainly a symbolic ceremony.

The Sand Ritual

Il Rito della Sabbia

Some trace the sand ritual back to Native American tribes who celebrated their marriages on the beach.

It is undoubtedly one of the most popular rituals in symbolic weddings, and despite its simplicity, it is fascinating

The ritual involves pouring two jars of sand into a single container. The sand in the two jars will be of different colours, and once united, they can become a single mixture where the two colours can no longer be recognised separately. Thus, the Sand Ritual represents the joining of two different souls and has a similar meaning to the Ceremony of Light.

Relatives and friends can also be involved by pouring sand in different colours to support the bride and groom's union.

Al Chiar di Luna settings and services during the ceremony

If the ritual is the "soul", the " arrangement" is the body of such a special moment.

Al Chiar di Luna's wedding planning service meets all requests and shapes the dream of your ritual of eternal love with flower design, musical entertainment, arrangements and artists.

The Delightful Cuisine

“Cuisine is not eating. It is much, much more than that. Cuisine is poetry”

Heinz Beck

Food is the heart of the event: it must respond to the wishes of the bride and groom and their guests. Choosing the wedding menu is a delicate decision because it must respect and "guess" guests' tastes.

The menu should also know how to interpret the guests' culture. Al Chiar di Luna has undergone several evolutions and revolutions during its 35 years in the business, which have changed its appearance, architecture, technological know-how, ambience, and even the company brand.

In an inverse syntony, the cuisine is linked to tradition with a great emphasis on food design: the cuisine enhances the taste of the most elegant and noble Neapolitan cuisine.

Our in-house kitchen takes care of the entire wedding reception, preparing everything from the appetisers to the bread and from the first and second courses to the cake. Our chef's creativity and imagination enrich each dish.

Extreme attention is given to guests who prefer something other than the seafood menu and those who follow a special diet. Whether your guests are vegan or vegetarian or, coeliac or lactose intolerant, our chef will prepare an alternative menu specifically conceived for them.

Wedding Memories

Those who live by love, live by eternity.”

Emile Verhaeren

The wedding is a moment you have to live intensely, and everyone wants to remember each instant of that day. The photo shoot, therefore, is not just a service.

It is a record that will last a lifetime. All the settings and services must be designed for incredible photographic cues: from the sunset to the architectural details, from the setting of the wedding cake to the arrangements.

Every wedding is unique and exclusive: the visual storytelling of your wedding is enriched by the style and the choice of the proper perspective made by your photographer. It is the tale that will make you relive, after years, precisely the emotion of that day. And there are plenty of emotions: the sparkle of the lights and the harmony with the settings, a smile shared with your team, a kiss at sunset or an endless hug. Every object, every light, every colour, every sound will play its part. Each element will contribute to creating your fairytale based on the dream's charm and the services' efficiency.

You will find all this in the wedding signed by Al Chiar di Luna.

Wedding Day

During the wedding day, our bride and groom will be able to appreciate all our services: from artists to the arrangements, from flower design to musical entertainment.

Making your wedding unique

"To create something exceptional, the mind must be relentlessly focused on every little detail"

Giorgio Armani

A wedding is truly one of the few moments in life where all the details are noticed and emphasised not only by the bride and groom for having planned and desired but also by all the guests.

From the drink list to the menu, from outdoor spaces to arrangements, from unique corners to an exclusive mise en place, from the wine list to complete corners, all the wedding details are essential ingredients for the event's success.

Thanks to its free and inclusive wedding planning service, Al Chiar di Luna offers the bride and groom a real wedding consultation. Thus, based on the theme and the dominant colour, the wedding planner recommends the perfect mise en place, a suitable wedding suite, the arrangements for every moment of the event and the unique corners for the aperitif and the cake with the possibility of harmonising everything through domotics and light and music design. A brilliant musical entertainment, artists and dancers, and exciting cold fireworks fountain shows to the beat of the music will also add adrenalin and fun to the event.
